A late move changes the chase

masspeaks has reached ninth on ARC-AGI-2 at 52.92. The late-afternoon score event records a jump from 44.44 and 17th to 52.92 and ninth: an 8.48-point improvement that carries the entry back inside the public gold band. The prior-evening comparison for this team is unavailable, so that event is not a net daily gain. In its earlier public reaction, posted October 10 Eastern, masspeaks said careful preparation had paid off and anticipated a high gold cutoff. Tonight’s board gives that expectation fresh context.

Schweighofer gains, then meets a rising line

Kajetan Schweighofer is 15th at 47.92, up 11.25 points from 27th since the previous close. That strong improvement now sits exactly on the last public gold place. The cutoff has risen from 41.81 to 47.92, a 6.11-point increase; the field contains 2,806 teams. The afternoon dispatch had Schweighofer twelfth and the gold line lower. The evening tells the next chapter: a better score can still face a tightening medal race. These public bands remain provisional until the private-board finish.

Tufa holds; Raiders keeps eighth

Tufa Labs remains first at 88.06, with a 7.50-point lead over rabbithole at 80.56. Yi-Chia Chen is third at 77.22 and nvbanana fourth at 77.08; all four scores are unchanged in the verified previous-close comparison. ARC Raiders holds eighth at 62.08, following a recorded overnight improvement from 60.00. Its roster includes Keith Tyser alongside dzjiann, mitubant and ngyzly. The same first three handles appear with ARC Slayers on ARC-AGI-3, but these are separate teams in separate contests, and roster presence does not assign responsibility for either score.

Progress below gold is still news

Odd Dice rises from 113th to 36th at 36.53 after a 4.03-point gain. Alumek reaches 43rd at 35.14, up from 121st, while Boris Matsakov reaches 44th at 35.00 from 166th; both add 2.78 points. Jack Cole’s unchanged 38.61 now places him 27th, six places lower. Mithil A Vakde likewise keeps 33.89 but slips to 51st from 39th. Movement elsewhere in the field can change the placing of an unchanged score.

The conditions debate remains a proposal

Away from the score table, Darren Amadeus Martin’s public petition asks for a contest extension or a GPU change in response to submission delays he reports. CPMP—Jean-François Puget, listed with nvbanana—objects that teams have spent months tuning for the current GPU setup. Those are participant proposals and objections. The discussion supplies no observed organizer decision changing the deadline or compute arrangement, so readers should not treat the debate as a new competition rule.
