The cat takes third: faster machine overtakes Turducken

The cat has passed the turkey
The giant cat is on the podium. faster machine is all you need—the ARC-AGI-3 entry we introduced as xz this morning—has overtaken Team Turducken to take third on the public board.
Its 58.59 puts it 2.57 points ahead of Turducken’s 56.02. The saved history first records the move from 52.95 to 58.59 at 4:22 pm Eastern, a 5.64-point advance that exchanged their places. The 7:52 pm observation still has the cat third and Turducken fourth.
Our early evening feature asked whether the cat could turn its arrival into another move before the close. The public board has supplied the answer.
One day, two different entrances
This morning’s story was the vault into fourth at 52.95. The later improvement is a different sporting event: xz has passed an established podium contender rather than simply joined the chase. Team Turducken has lost the place while its score stays unchanged.
The account behind both names is xiaoz259. Earlier reporting checked a first-place finish among 4,186 teams in AI Agent Security – Multi-Step Tool Attacks, alongside previous ARC campaigns. That competitive history made the unfamiliar cat worth following before this second move; the latest result gives the profile a new ending.
The ARC method behind the rise remains undisclosed in the material reviewed. The new team name does not establish what hardware or technique produced the score.
The next terrace
Third place still leaves a substantial climb. Tufa Labs is second at 70.02, 11.43 points above the cat; Yi-Chia Chen @ Fields Model leads at 75.56. The Last Dance remains fifth at 51.51. The public podium has changed, while the first two places remain intact. Final places will be decided on the private board.
Our new illustration makes the overtake literal: the huge cream cat lands on a higher snowy terrace as Turducken’s seven familiar characters and two Yorkies look up from their mechanical turkey. It is a new episode for a new result.
Standings and cast were checked for this follow-up. The competitor background comes from today’s saved reporting; social and discussion research was not refreshed.
