ARC-2 adds a gold place as the field passes 3,000

ARCward Intelligence returns to the provisional gold band at an unchanged score. Varstern 6037 reaches fortieth with a second score increase.

Sixteen places, and a return to gold

ARCward Intelligence is back inside the ARC-AGI-2 public gold band without improving its 57.08 score. The closing board has 3,001 teams and sixteen gold places, one more than earlier in the day. Sixteenth-placed ARCward therefore supplies the new cutoff, down from the morning’s 58.06 and level with yesterday’s close. Kajetan Schweighofer remains fifteenth at 58.06 after overtaking ARCward earlier. The field’s growth changes the medal picture even though neither entry adds another point. These are provisional public positions, not final medals.

The next challengers still need a gain

Youssef Nader closes eighteenth at 54.72, up 3.61 points against the previous close and now 2.36 below the lower gold line. mtg is twentieth at 54.03 after its recorded rise from 46.67; that score step came overnight and was already visible this morning. Above them, the podium remains Tufa Labs at 88.06, Yi-Chia Chen at 83.89 and rabbithole at 80.56. Fourth-placed nvbanana holds 79.17, still 1.39 behind third. The wider gold band changes the chase below that group, not the leading order.

Varstern takes a second step

Varstern 6037 follows its morning score of 39.44 with a further rise to 42.36 and closes fortieth. The later recorded step adds 2.92 points; the wire’s larger 11.80-point figure combines that with the earlier step from 30.56, rather than describing a second gain of that size. Hira Norm finishes 42nd at 41.39, up 5.56 points and 21 places against the previous close. Both advances improve position well below the gold line.

The top hundred keeps moving

Hack2Publish closes 75th at 34.58, gaining 47 places and 1.94 points against the previous close. Ali Shirvani is sixtieth at 36.94 after the recorded jump from 31.53. Jack Cole adds 0.70 to 39.31 yet finishes 51st, four places below the previous close: a reminder that a better score can still lose ground when other entries advance.

Queues remain in the conversation

Geremie Yeo describes inference queues as rough in an October 17 public post, pointing to demand across the two ARC contests and Gemma 4 Developer Agent. His account adds a practical concern alongside the day’s score moves: waiting for runs. His explanation attributes that pressure to competing demand; it supplies no platform-wide capacity measurement.
