A stronger foothold near the front

Khaotic Sethesis, 16th, and Arcnights, 17th, remain at 48.75 and now sit 4.31 points below that line. Today’s earlier wire reports caught their exits when the cutoff was only 49.03; the evening close shows the larger gap. Masspeaks holds the final gold position, while ARCward Intelligence is 14th at 54.17. Public bands are provisional, not final medals.

Chen gains; Tufa keeps first

Yi-Chia Chen remains second at 83.89 after an observed Wednesday improvement from 82.64, a gain of 1.25 points in that event. Her net previous-evening comparison is unavailable, so the event should not be relabelled as a verified daily gain. Tufa Labs leads at an unchanged 88.06, putting the current gap at 4.17 points. Rabbithole is third at 80.56; nvbanana follows at 77.08, with Jean-François Puget and Darragh Hanley in its observed roster. ARC Raiders holds ninth at 64.58. These are separate ARC-2 entries, even where people also compete in ARC-3.

Big climbs farther down the field

Gladstone025 reaches 59th at 34.44, up 193 places and 2.63 points against yesterday’s evening comparison. The morning wire’s 190-place rise used an earlier rolling-day boundary. Kakuteki’s afternoon event lifted its score from 26.53 to 33.19 and its rank from 1,748th to 78th; it remains 78th at the evening close. Odd Dice, whose roster lists Itsu’s nisshokuitsuki account, is 37th at 39.03, up eight places and 2.50 points against the edition baseline. In a Japanese post early Wednesday, Itsu noted that a 2.5-point improvement still left the entry below an earlier rank of 31. That longer personal comparison differs from the edition’s overnight comparison. Jack Cole closes 39th and Mithil A Vakde 63rd, both with unchanged scores and four-place declines.

Haiku’s grid result comes with a completion warning

Away from the Kaggle race, ARC Prize announced a verified 61.3% ARC-AGI-2 result for Haiku 5.5 at xhigh reasoning, costing $0.085 per task. The organization omitted the max-reasoning result because only 74 of 120 tasks completed; many unfinished attempts exhausted their output budget without producing a parseable answer. The result gives builders an inexpensive model evaluation to investigate, while showing why additional reasoning is not automatically a reliable upgrade. It establishes no new Kaggle team score.
