A new name inside the gold places

Kajetan Schweighofer supplied the morning’s clearest verified net move near the front: an 11.25-point gain to 47.92 and a climb from 27th to 12th. That carries the entry into the 15 provisional public gold places. The overnight wire reported a larger 13.89-point gain from an earlier rolling-day starting point; both observations describe the climb, but only 11.25 belongs to this edition’s morning comparison. ibyyue now sits 16th at 41.81, level with the gold score threshold but outside the ranked band. A score tie does not guarantee a place.

Tufa keeps the field at a distance

Tufa Labs remains first at 88.06, with rabbithole second at 80.56: a 7.50-point margin. Yi-Chia Chen follows at 77.22 and nvbanana at 77.08. None of those four scores changed in the verified morning comparison. The current Tufa roster includes Dries Smit’s verified driessmit1 account; the roster establishes his presence, not who produced a particular submission. Schweighofer’s surge changes the chase for public gold without dislodging the leaders.

Eighth and ninth raise their marks

Recorded score events give ARC Raiders and Majkel1337 useful momentum. ARC Raiders improved from 60.00 to 62.08 and closes eighth; Majkel1337 moved from 48.33 to 52.50 and closes ninth. Their midnight comparisons are unavailable, so neither event should be presented as a verified net morning gain. Keith Tyser’s keithtyser account appears on the observed ARC Raiders roster, alongside dzjiann, mitubant and ngyzly. That is a dated membership observation, with no inference about authorship of the gain.

The wire’s longer view

The overnight desk first filed MINAGI and later used its updated name, Aneesh & Yash. Those are two names for the same competition entry, not two separate surges. Its recorded score event took it from 30.14 to 40.14. The early wire had it 19th; Schweighofer’s later advance left it 20th in the saved trail before the issue close. Another filing revisited mrkmakr at 36.67 and 29th, and Burton Lancaster at 35.83 and 33rd. Their score gains were already recorded on October 11, before this morning’s baseline. They remain relevant field context without adding fresh overnight gains to the tally.

The leader’s explanation is still to come

In its October 10 public reply to Mike Knoop, Tufa Labs said it had begun working on ARC-AGI-2 by accident and would share more after the deadline. That is the team’s account of its path, not a disclosed solution or a method established by this desk. The public lead is measurable; the decisions behind it remain a story to pursue when the promised details arrive. Public medal positions remain provisional, and the morning close does not imply that every pending submission has completed evaluation.
